If you found this page, then you were probably looking for me. If not, then I have no idea why you are here, since there isn't much here.
I am currently a software engineer at Google in New York, where I've created a few things you may have used. These days I work mostly on web search, but I've also contributed a few things that are part of Google Reader, including the recommendation system, "the cool feed" (more info), magic ranking, and the automatically generated bundles.
You might also know me because of my chess program called Rascal, which I created during my freshman year in college. I improved the program steadily from 2002 to 2007. During that time it played several thousand games against human and computer oponents, including a few grandmasters. It also played in five of the annual CCT tournaments. It's inactive these days because I simply have no time for it. Maybe one day I will put more information about it on the internet.
If you want to contact me, you can send me email at . If you want to send me something that is for my eyes only, I recommend you encrypt it using my PGP public key.
